Launched in May 2013 Nursaw Associates may be very young but has already established itself with major clients such as the Office for Fair Access, Medical Schools Council, the Sutton Trust, Health Education England and the Universities of Birmingham, Oxford, York St John, Warwick and University College London.  Led by Ceri Nursaw, Nursaw Associates provides consultancy and project implementation support to organisations to further social mobility, public engagement and public/private partnership.  Nursaw Associates has also a network of contacts to bring in to support major projects or areas requiring niche expertise.  

Nursaw Associates has also been chosen to be part of the Department for Education's Analytical Associate pool and Ceri Nursaw has joined NCEE (National Centre for Enterpreneurship in Education) as an Associate.

With over 20 years experience working in higher education and local government Ceri has a strong record in strategy, project development, partnership and relationship management.  Nursaw Associates can support organisations in the fields social mobility, community engagement, citizenship and public/private partnership. 

Until April 2013 Ceri was Head of Access and Community Engagement at the University of Leeds (where she led a team of over 30 and a budget in excess of £3m to support fair access, recruitment, community engagement and local and national policy development).  She has also held roles with Government Office, Yorkshire and Humber Universities Association and Leeds City Council to build partnership between public bodies to support social and economic initiatives.

Known as an expert on fair access and community engagement leading a series of firsts for the sector and key leadership roles.  Nursaw Associates provides expertise in widening participation and fair access, recruitment and admissions to higher education, city and regional relationship management, cultural programmes, civic responsibility, community engagement and student volunteering.
